XP Startup Programs

Hello,
How to prioritize startup programs on XP. Like "local area connection".

I'm not aware of any way to do that without rewriting the program. Why does it matter anyhow? They all run at startup anyhow and since some programs take longer to start up than others, even if you had a priority list, it wouldn't guarantee that one of the later programs wouldn't finish loading before one of the earlier programs.
