XP support for newer hardware

I built a new pc with
I7 6700 6700 k
Gigabyte z170 d3h heroes gaming MoBO
Ddr4 16 gb ram
My question is that I'm not Abe to instal windows XP. When I try to instal, after initial reading the drivers screen turns blue and says drivers are not ACPI compliant. Though windows 7 runs without any fuss. Is it that Windows xp can't be installed on newer hardware. Or some hardware problem there ( which I don't expect as Windows 7 runs flawless)
Is there a way to instal xp

Driver support for an ancient (although venerable) OS on modern hardware is very likely NOT going to happen. Sorry, time to install a modern OS.
