XP to Windows 7 question

GOING NUTZ !!!!!!

Hi all,
My question to you is. I run XP home now and want to upgrade to windows 7 but am very confussed about getting the upgrade or full. I will be purchasing Home or Home premium, PLUS the big question is ...........Over the years i have had to format a few hard drives and reinstall my copy of xp on numerous hard drives....Is this possible with windows 7? I am so unclear on this one XP was easy to buy BUT this time i am having problems making up my mind,,,, Any help would be GR8..

You'll be fine with just buying the upgrade. Yes, you'll have to format the hard drive during the W7 install. There is a way to upgrade from XP to W7, but it is rather complicated. Have a look at this tutorial to guide you through:
