XP works with Photoshop?

Have XP home on my rig....have Adobe Photoshop 6.0 also. Adobe brought up my HP scanner 1100AXi in WIN 98 but WONT bring up my HP scanner in XP Home. Why not and how do I correct this?

have you checked to make sure the scanner is compatible with xp?
i know that photoshop 6.0 is supposed to be perfectly compatible. works on my computer, and brings up my microtek scanmaker 3600. maybe you need a driver update for the scanner?
