I ran into the same problem with my mobile XP2500. It basicaly hit a
wall at 211-215FSB. After some digging I came across some post with
google about it and changing the default FSB for the CPU might help with
the problem. I changed it from 133FSB default to 166FSB default (have an
urge to try 200FSB now ummm) with the wire in the socket trick! (I
wouldn't do this if your not at all confident you can do it and have the
tools/eyesight aswell).
http://ocinside.de/index_e.html has an
interactive guide, got Workshop and select the Interactive pin-mod guide
under Socket-A. Choose to view the Socket view, then select the FSB
Speed on the right hand side, to 166 or 200. Double check the results
and then I suggest printing it out.. Also remember, it is important your
CPU can boot into the clock speed, as it is now your Default settings
for the CPU. So try and reach your highest CPU speed with a high
multiplier first to be safe.
As for the rest, your RAM voltage should be good till it reaches its
rated speed. Then you shall probably have to up the voltage and relax
the latency of it (check with manufacturer for the latency settings it
can do). CPU, well give it as much juice as it needs, buy keep it under
50-60C (60C in Summer not Winter) when running Prime95, CPU tester pro
or do some Folding

1.75VCore should be pretty safe with decent air
cooling. I find after that it can get pretty hot..
I have the A7N8Xdeluxe Uber 1007, I have found the UBER BIOS to be great
IF you need 2.9V on the memory. There are a few other good un-hidden
settings, but the Chipset voltage option, does nothing so don't get your
hopes up
🙁 I beleive the general result is a max of 120-135FSB with
these motherboards without a chipset mod. But you should be good for
something between there at least... Have fun dude, must run off for
bevvys in Newtown
