I wanted to buy a mousepad that's not too expensive (I'm not a fan of RGB either), and so I had these two brands, as I don't have a variety of options in my country. Also, there is Reddragon as a widely available option. Now I only got one constraint that is making me undetermined to choose. My dual monitor arm clamp takes some space, making it so that the available height space for a mouse pad could be around 40mm max, so I wanted to ask what you think is a better option to choose from :

1: XPG Battleground XL Extra Large Gaming Mouse Pad (this has a height of 42mm)

2: MSI AGILITY GD70 Gaming Mouse Pad-Black (40mm height)

I understand that XPG has a bigger height but it has a cordura fabric (I'm not sure how much that should contribute in my choice)

You might want to look into a larger desk/table top or perhaps mount the monitors to the wall to get the arm out of the way and free up options for your mousepad. Wait, looking up dimensions for the mouse pads, https://us-store.msi.com/AGILITY-GD...JWbPdKMRr6JBBDXZcQiujoGlJL_b6yrrjBOkeLnUfDIGK
I'm confused now, either that or you've got your dimensions wrong. 40mm thick mouse pads would mean you have a giant block under your palm/mouse.

What sort of a mouse are you working with? What sort of games do you play with said mouse?

I don't have a variety of options in my country
Where are you located? What is your budget for your mousepad? Preferred site for purchase?

not 40mm thick; it's the length of the mouse pad not the height. Sorry for the confusion. My current mouse is G502 Hero Logitech, I play all sorts of games usually, MMO's , Strategy and some old games, usually though I could play FPS games and battle royale, CoD and warzone ....etc

Located in Egypt currently, I'd say budget wise around 30$ or so. I don't have a preferred site, whatever gets me the desired pad to be honest, Amazon or some local electronics shop

You sure it's not 400mm? That's what I'm looking at on their specsheet.

If you're an all rounder gamer, then you pick the mouse pad that fits your desk's layout. If you're a competitive gamer, then you pick the mouse pad with the smoothest surface. Your limiter here is the available desk space due to your monitor arm.

I was asking if you had sites to your local dealers so we could see what you have access to.

Again, my bad. Yes, you are correct; I meant 400mm (I usually go with cm, hence the missing 0)

Not sure if I'm allowed to post links but here goes (apologies if this is against the rules or something to post links to local dealers:
