[SOLVED] XPG Gammix S50 lite VS. 970 Evo Plus

I am torn between choosing the AData XPG Gammix S50 lite or getting the more popular Samsung 970 Evo Plus for my upcoming computer upgrade for with an Asus B550i ROG Strix, R5 5600x and 32 GB of DDR4 RAM.

I have read numerous reviews on this SSD and the only negative point which is repeated at the conclusion of most of them is that the write speeds are low once the SLC cache is saturated.
I can't tell for sure if bad sustained writing speed may pose a real problem in the future for my usage which is Gaming, CAD, Medical Imaging software and some python coding.

Is there is an example of any tasks that would benefit from good sustained writing speed?

I can get the 1 TB S50 Lite cheaper than the 1TB 970 Evo Plus.

Your opinion and advice is very much appreciated.

Bestbuy has the 1tb Evo on sale for 170 which makes this a no brainer to me.

Thanks for your quick reply but I am buying these component in a different country (Egypt)

The 970 Evo Plus is sold for EGP 3250
and the S50 Lite is sold for EGP 2700

Copying a large block of files from another NVMe drive to that one, or in some cases copying on/to the same drive. Amount depends on write speed and how full the drive is at the time, more or less. Some applications may preallocate space incorrectly (Steam may do this when installing games or updates) which can cause them to overwrite, however the actual download is far slower so your SSD generally has plenty of time to catch up.
