Hello guys. My friend has XPG SX6000 Pro PCIe Gen3x4 M.2 2280 SSD. Here is specs:
  • Performance(Max): Read 2100MB/s , Write 1500MB/s
  • Maximum 4K random read/write IOPS : up to 250K/240K
  • * Performance may vary based on SSD capacity, host hardware and software, operating system, and other system variables.
His system specs:
  • AMD Ryzen 7 3700X.
  • EVGA RTX 2060 Super XC Ultra.
  • ASUS ROG B550 F GAMING Wi-Fi*
  • XPG Spectrix D60G CL16 3200 MHz RAM.
  • XPG SX6000 PRO 512 GB M.2 SSD.
  • Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM harddisk.
  • Thermaltake TR2 s 750W 80 Plus PSU.
He is using this SSD to second M2 slot because he wants to buy second M2 SSD gen4 later. When he tested it, his test results:
1900 Mbps writing, 1034 Mbps reading

But when he cange the SSD's slot and put it to gen4 m2 slot on motherboard. Result:
2098 Mbps writing, 1500 Mbps reading.

*This mobo has 2 m2 slots:
  1. gen4 slot from cpu
  2. gen3 from chipset
If its a problem, a problem from mobo or ssd?
