I bought a computer. To build up urself.
I got everything connected right.
Started the computer all no problem.
But when I put the cd in "GIGABYTE AMD 9/8/7 -series Utility DVD Ver.1.4"
It says at the beginning after loading a couple seconds " Drive 2TB + Capicity or drive not found" something like that:

Can somebody help me out?
Is my old hard drive to small or how should I understand this ?

I did not put a windows system on there yet.
Just got everything put in, CPU, memory card and graphic card and all the cables put in the right places.

And then when I put in the CD. Just after turning the PC on for the first time. I boots. Asks for CD. "GIGABYTE AMD 9/8/7 -series Utility DVD Ver.1.4" And thenn after 10 seconds or so loading "Xpress recovery 2"
It shows and error 500. Drive not found, I remember and drive something about 2 TB + Capacity not found or something all something in use.

xpress recovery is restore software, like what oem's (Dell, HP,...) use.

There are a few things you need to do first.
1: Leave unpartitioned space at the end of your drive for this recovery partition. You will need enough room so that what you want in this 'recovery' will fit
2:You will need to have already loaded an operating system (so there is something to put into the recovery partition)
3: Xpress Recovery only works with your sata ports in IDE mode.
4: I do not know if xpress recovery works with drives larger than 2tb. I would not think it would though since its restricted to ide mode.

Hi,

The problem is that the disk in the dvd-rom can recover from bad BIOS update, this is why you see Xpress recovery 2.

If you get the disk out, you will boot in windows if it was installed or you need to insert windows installation disk in dvd to install it.
