Xps 435t hardware compatibility

I just bought a Dell Studio XPS 435T/9000 LGA 1366 0X501H mobo and have a few questions about it.

1. Can it take ecc ram? It has a Xeon hexacore on it right now FYI

2. I have a liquid cooling system I'm installing on it cause my fan cooler is destroyed no thanks to my ex girlfriend so all I have is the liquid cooling system will that be better worse or the same as fan cooling? Note this is for a custom built game hosting server that is running 24/7


3. What is the doa ratio for these boards. I bought 2 z400 motherboards and z420 motherboards all 4 hp workstation boards all 4 used NONE worked. Anyone have issues with this board related to doa excess??

XPS does not support ECC memory.
4 DOA is not uncommon from used systems, depends on how they are tested, return them !

Those hp boards need a proprieraty connector to work if I remember correctly. Liquid cooling should usually be better than air cooling. Seems like it takes standard ddr3 ram up to 1333mhz.

I've usually had good luck with used parts it's just the hp z400 and z420 boards that didn't work. Do you think this board has a high doa ratio??
