XPS 8700 compatible with the GTX 950?

Solution
you have to open your case and make sure your PSU have that 6pin power connector for GTX 950.

If not you can find another model without 6pin power connector.

also, this GPU will fit fine.

just to make sure: is this your pc right?

Well, the card dimensions is: (L x H) 6.80" x 4.38"
But I can't find the specification for Your computer, I mean the power supply?
This card however should not be a problem since its requirements is a PC with a total of 35OW Power supply.

But You need to check the dimensions by yourself, if it can fit without that back-end of the card touching anything in the front of your chassis inbound.

How about the motherboard? I can't even find Your computer on google search so it's hard to say, perhaps other will come in and help.

Best Regards from Sweden.
Ps. Sorry for my poor english grammar.

Thank you, But I'm no so sure about that...:)
Is it possible that you have a link to the store where You bought it or perhaps elsewhere, or even the manual?
It will make life a lot easier if we can take a look at the specifications somehow.

If not, no problem; You can do this: on the back of the chassis You will find the power supply cord going in, just around that area you should be able to find a plate with printed text about the power supply.
There are two things which is of interest: total power (W)att and if possible if it says the max (A)mpere on the 12V line.

Best regards from Sweden

Hello Designed, I'm considering upgrading my basic xps 8700 with what I assume would be the exact same specs listed for the pc above in this thread. I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card as the GT720 is not sufficient. Three questions, Will the power supply handle the Graphics card I'm looking to install, same for the motherboard. my third question would be is the card compatible with my PC or do you have a recommendation around the same price range if not. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487159&ignorebbr=1 This is the card im looking at. But I know nothing about computers. I apologize for my lack of technical knowledge

The power supply should be enough if you have the exact xps 8700. The power supply can handle 960's and below. The motherboard is compatible also.
One problem with your graphics card... The card length is way too long to fit in the case. You can measure yourself how much room is in the case. With my 960 strix, it's 8.90 inches long, and it barely fits. So, I would try to look for anything smaller than 9 inches across. You can get the same graphics card, but choose the regular EVGA GTX 950 or EVGA GTX 950 SC. The 950 might not be available, so look around for other websites like Newegg 😉. The evga 950 SC is also more expensive because of its higher base clock and boost clock.

Unfortunately my pc is not the same as listed above as I have the I5 processor with the GT 720 gpu I think these specs are exactly what I'm running https://www.cnet.com/products/dell-xps-8700-core-i5-4460-3-2-ghz-8-gb-1-tb/specs/ would you know if this set up would require a 6pin or 8pin gpu? and could you possibly tell me if this graphics card is compatible with my current setup? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202230&cm_re=rx_470-_-14-202-230-_-Product

Your PC should have an 4+2 Pin which equals a 6 pin connector... I need to know how many watts your power supply is and the dimensions of that RX 470. I've been looking all over the place for those dimensions, but I could not find anything specific.
