Xps 9575 vs Vostro 7590

Which laptop would be better, I mainly will use it for school video editing and some gaming like apex legends or borderlands.

The i5 vostro with a 1050 and 8gb of ram is 800
The xps is refurbished with an i5 8305g with a Vega m gl and 8gb that can't be changed. For 900

Which would you recommend, I can barely find any data on the vostro and I have atleast heard the 9575 runs cooler than the normal XPS

It all comes down to these questions

(1) Do you really need the 2-in-1 functionality?
(2) Do you mind buying used stuff?
(3) Is touchscreen important to you?

If the answer to any of the above questions is yes, you go with the Dell XPS 15 9575.

Of course the Dell vostro 7590 is better from gaming and future upgradability point of view but for your use case, both should be okay.

You probably wouldn't need more than 8 GB of RAM.

Why do you think the vostro would have better gaming performance? Xps chip should be in between a 4gb 1050 and 1050ti . Plus the processor should be more than enough, seen posts where persons have disabled turbo boost to decrease temps but frame rate drops are minimal
