XPS Document Writer "Was Not Installed. Element Not Found."

This morning one of our computers in my office lost the ability to print via Quickbooks. After looking in the "Devices and Printers" screen, I noticed that the XPS Document Writer was missing from the list of printers. Looking at other forums has show that this is the culprit. I've tried reinstalling it, but I receive an error message "Printer Driver Was Not Installed. Element Not Found." I can't find where I can download the driver or if I can copy it from another machine. I'm stuck now as that computer won't print via Quickbooks as I understand that QB uses XPS to print all forms.

I tried that before coming here. Quickbooks even has a print/pdf tool for download, but that didn't work either.

Since, I do do use it, I just remove and added it again per instructions above without any issues. Have a look here.

It's already gone, so I can't remove it. When I try to add it re-install it is when I receive the error message.

Do you have latest adobe reader installed?
