Xtreme N Gig router won't give gig speed?

What could be causing the problem. Does anyone know about the Xtreme N Dir-655? What am I doing wrong. I am running W 7 Pro 32bit. I have the Gig router, along with gig switches. My computer is a gig port. I must have to do some setting changes somewhere but am not sure where. It shows only 100 in the lan. Anyone?

Gig uses all 8 wires. so if one wire is bad it will drop to 100 speeds which only uses 4 wires.
Try another cable and/or port on the connections.
