Yahoo Messenger and its problems

i have problem with yahoo messenger i cannot use the
microphone when i test the Audio Setup Wizard the
speakers working well but when i click on Next to test
the mic the error message comes up and the details :
Error Signature
AppName:ypager.exe AppVer:6.0.0.1750 ModName:asw.dll
ModVer:1.0.25.0 offset 0000660d

am using Windos XP home edition

this is a riddle to me .
i dont know what can i do to sort this problem out.
can i get your help please
