Question Yamaha RX-V1600 Surround Audio Issue?

I recently reset my Yamaha unit and reconfigured it using the mic and everything but listening to music the sound is noticeably less full. Volume as well is quiet and it seems to no longer use my 7.1 surround system correctly. Is there any way to assure its using the full 7.1 system? I've already attempted basic EQ and the multiple room presets.

Did you go through the Menu and check all of the Manual Setup options to make sure all of the connected speakers are properly identified and set up correctly? Is the Initial Volume setting set the same as before?

Yes, we have, all speakers are identified and tested working, The volume should be as it was before. We also used the included setup microphone to test the room and it clearly played through all speakers. Though when we switched over to our Record Player or any other device the sound was noticeably quieter and less present than before.
