how to enhance frame rate in gts 250? i have only 08 frame rate ;(

I have only 8 frame rate in all games like COD MW2, COD Black Ops etc..
I need your help to improve my frame rates.

My CPU is;

Mother board: DG965ry
Processor: Dual Core 1.8ghz
Hard Disk: 1TB
RAM: 4gb 800bus Kingston
Resolution: 1024 x 768
Graphics Card: GTS 250 1gb
Power Supply: 600W
OS: Win XP SP3 and Win 7

Get a better cpu as ur current one is bottlenecking your fps and gpu. I'd recommend a quad core with at least 2.5GHz. Have fun.

well looks like the board doesn't support quads, try and get e6600 (and a better aftermarket cooler and overclock it, if the mobo supports overclocking)
or you could oc your current cpu and see if it helps any. There should be overclocking guides in the cpu section of these forums. gl

If i will purchase e6600? then i will have an issue that is Sockets Supported type.

e6600 support PLGA775 socket and my board (DG965RY) support LGA775,
so what should i do?
and what is the difference between PLGA775 and LGA 775?
