Yellow icon by internet connection icon and i have no internet

Hey all. I'm not sure what's going on. I am connected by Ethernet. On my pc the lan port is green which means its connected. When I first start my cpu the connection icon is normal. Then as if continues the start up the yellow icon appears. Can anyone help?

Might be a driver loading up and not working. (The first one being the windows default working - if you indeed are on wintel)

Did you install any drivers lately?

No. I reinstalled the drivers that came with my mobo but it still won't work

Win 10 64.

It was working fine but my son downloaded ad ware crap. I was able to clean it out but now I can't get the net fixed.

Format / reinstall, to be frank is the only solution I'd go with. And I'd enforce some strict ass policies on his user account.

Sorry I voted your answer down. It was done accidently and I can't undo it. Where would I find that? For troubleshooting I get "one or more network protocols are missing on this computer"
