Yellow marker not scanned

Hello,
I scan B/W drawings that are marked-up with different color markers. Problem is that yellow and some other colors are (almost) invisible. Is there a way around (color profiles maybe?) Copying a yellow book cover is okay.

I have an A3 AIO Brother MFC J6510DW.

You could manually increase the contrast, or you can scan in color and then convert to gray-scale in Photoshop.
