Yellow Tint On Monitor After Installing Graphics Card

Hello everyone

I just installed a new graphics card onto my PC, installed the drivers, checked Device Manager to see if it's installed, and it is.

But the problem is that my monitor displays a yellowish tint onto my monitor screen, I've tried Factory Reset, Color and Contrast settings, but they didn't help. I've tried using different monitors and different VGA cables as well, but they didn't help either.

I can play games just fine but I have to suffer by seeing that yellowish tint.

I'm running Windows Vista 32 bit.

on the vga cables check for bent or broken pins. put the old card back in or use onboard video see if the error still there.

The pins are perfectly fine, monitor is fine when I plug it into the onboard video though.

if your running the newest mb chipset drivers and the right gpu drivers and the error there you may have gotten a bad gpu card. if you can try the card in another pc do it see if the error follows the card if not see if you can exchange it.

i would tinker in the graphics properties on your gpu i would also find the options on your monitor go to picture/display then to picture mode/color then make sure it is on vivid, normal, standerd, or gaming

that monitor is also a VA panel so make sure your sitting at it directly instead of the side

Please start your own thread as this one is now dead owing to it's age. And anyway, you should always start your own thread when you've got a problem, we prefer it that way.
