Anywhere in the middle east is unstable, due to alot of things surrounding their religion.

I have similar worries about all other countries that experienced a recent revolution.

Yes I am sure we all hope tha they end up adopting a democratic, free and relatively safe society but the British and French had similar hopes with Africa after the colonial period and look what happened there?

That place is still a mess 75 years later.

Claude Levi-Strauss wrote "tristes tropiques" which is a brilliant book gropouce if you get the chance to read it - the original is published in French.
