You might try a proxy program, like yProxy at
www.brawnylads.com you run it in the background
and it decodes the yEnc posts so your browser works
just like it normally does.

News readers such as Xnews for the PC, or Hogwash for the Mac can read
these.

Also, they are partitioned files, or segments of the whole file broken
down into multiple post with the same names like (1 of 30, 2 of 30,
ect). News readers like Xnews will automatically recognize these and
group them together to show them as ONE file, and identify the post that
are missing the segments.

I would add that it is possible to save what you've downloaded in outlook as
a text file and decode it using a stand alone version of yenc. Pain to do.

Xnews or the full version of Agent automate the process. If you decide to
try one of those its worth mentioning that the latest free version of the
popular zonealarm firewall won't allow these programs to decode yenc.

If you want to keep using OE then search for yProxy, iy is a small tool that
will decode files but not let you post in yenc format.

It has been reported to be fixed in the *very* latest, recently released
version.
