Hi there. I'm looking for a mid-high end grfx card for my C2D build (first time 
). I'm torn between these:
7900GT
X1900GT
X1900XT
EVGA GTs have the step-up program, useful if DX 10 comes out in the next 3 months. But according to these benchmarks: http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=2812 the X1900XT is head and shoulders above Nvidia yet on Newegg its MSI, Connect3D, and Sapphire flavors are as cheap as the 7900GTs. The X1900GT is about on par with the 7900GT, but is only $200. ATI also has HDR+AA.
I might upgrade to a multi-GPU solution at some point. SLI seems more mature. But Crossfire boards for Conroe are widely available, while Nforce590 for Conroe is not here yet. I'm also concerned about the price of mobos with this chipset. The Crossfire X1900 is also slower than its XT counterpart. Or I could wait for the X1950 Crossfire, which isn't slower. But could this go over my $300 budget (which is flexible though).
Suggestions?
Or maybe I'll win that $10,000 PC and this will all be a moot point.
