I just upgraded to a Ryzen 1700X (full list of new parts here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NjhRD8). The CPU is running great, but I can't seem to get the RAM to run at anything above the default 2133 Mhz, let alone the 3200 it's rated at.
But no matter what I try, it fails to POST at anything over the default 2133.
Furthermore, if I set a higher speed manually, it will fail a few times (up to the set limit in BIOS), then will return to using default settings and force me to go back into the BIOS to fix it. However, if I use D.O.C.P., it just keeps trying and failing forever until I kill the power and use the clear-RCT jumper.
Any ideas?
--- [EDIT] Problem solved. I missed the ProcODT setting when I started. Up to 2800 now, which is acceptable. ---
