I'm building my first i7, OCed, and Liquid cooled computer.
What size power supply do I need?

I'm a graphic designer and website developer/programmer.
I might game a bit, but don't mind sacrificing ascetics for a playable frame rate.

Now take the money you saved and put it down on one of these cards, and in the future you can always pick up another one later on for two of them in SLI. That 850w psu is more than enough to push two of them.

Well like Why_Me said the 1000W is an overkill for the current setup...
But it is more future proof as you can run Triple SLI when you are willing to add one more card... and the whole setup without any problems with that PSU...
+1 for the RAM and the GPU suggestion...

Well I already got the ram and it's also 2000MHz as apposed to 1600 and has much tighter timings then shown on newegg. It's also half-priced compared to what it usually retails.

Thanks for the suggestion on the PSU, for future reference, how do you know how much wattage you need for a build?

Any reason the BFG 285 as apposed to others?

With the money I'm saving from the PSU, I wouldn't mind putting towards the GPU.
