Ok, I solved the secret switch in the study, thanks to you guys but
now I need to get up into the clock tower...
I can see the hidden entrance up there on the side of the tower but
how on earth do I get up there.???

There are some pipes immediately below it so I gather that they play
some part in my success but I can't seem to get to them. I tried
jumping from the boxes below but can't grab ahold of the pipes...

Please point me in the correct direction...

You can buy them from the fence in the docks i do believe.

About half way through the game you can buy them at a red-hand shoppe.
Just be sure to check the shops when you gain access to a new map area.
