Hi taffer!

I'm sure you're aware of Thief: Deadly Shadows. That's what's new :) What
else? Oh, the buggy AI of TDS, the official correction patch for it,
unofficial tweaks and modificiations to TDS like the Thiefbot, TDS Tweaker,
John P's fantastic high-res textures for TDS, The Minimalist Project for
TDS, The Dark Mod (in development, a Thief MOD based on a modified Doom III
engine. http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=88654&page=1&pp=25),
and of course a great number of new and fantastic Fan Missions (see
thiefmissions.com)!

And we're still waiting for T2X to finish things up, the Hammerite Imperium,
further CoSaS missions..... Of course, Black Cat Games continues work on
Thievery UT http://www.thieveryut.com/ (has been out for quite some time)
and Nightblade for UT2K4 http://www.night-blade.com/.

Oh, and we're still petitioning for the level editor for TDS to be released
http://www.thiefpetition.com/.

And we're hanging around here, TTLG, Ion Storm forums...... :)

Blimey, they don't make it obvious what it is though, do they? I had to root
around quite a bit to discover it's an add-on to Unreal Tournament. Have
they not heard of an introduction home page?

I suppose they could make it a bit more clear on the first page what the
whole thing's all about, but then, the FAQ is accessible right from the top
banner. Still, I tend to agree with you.

ThieveyUT is an amazing achievement as mods/total conversions go, but it's
still not what I'd be looking for in a multiplayer 'Thief'. ThieveryUT is
far too action oriented to my taste. I suppose that if you got really into
it, learned the maps extremely well, managed to get into a clan with some
like-minded people on a limited-access server -- it might be different. I
just don't have time for that level of dedication. My loss, perhaps, but
I've always preferred solo playing anyway, and I'm having far too much fun
with the Fan Missions :)
