I'm going to buy a laptop. My options are:

* Intel core duo t2300 1,6 Ghz

* Intel pentium m 760 2 Ghz

Powerful is important for me (i need run photoshop, gimp, dreamweaver, flash, some format conversion software -mp3stream, cinema forge, windows movie maker, etc...-) and batterie's life.

Any idea? What do you think about?

The prices: Laptop with Yonnah (1600 $), with Dothan (1280 $)

Thanks a lot.

since ur going to run quite a few heavy (CPU) duty programs i'd go with the duo, might be slower, but the second core should help alot, I know that the whole core duo was also built on the idea of a lower wattage, which will again help with the batt life, but compared to a Pentium M...i donno... i recon that it should perform at the same batt level. oh and dont forget that core is ( i think) a hell of alot more advanced then the dothan
