[SOLVED] Yosemite AHT problem.

Whenever I try to access AHT on my 2011 Macbook Pro nothing happens. I press and hold the D key and nothing happens. I have tried pressing the key right before the grey screen and while it was beginning the boot-up. Any help would would be appreciated.
