I am at my wits end... I have tried every trick tip and suggested setting I could fin here and on the internet and absolutely NOTHING works... All I want to do is browse my laptop from my PC and copy files back and forth. Both machines are Windows 10 Home and this is a private home network with only 2 computers.

My laptop have full access to the PC, but no the other way around. I do my work on my PC, and need to copy the finished files to the laptop to take to work. I'm about ready to shoot my PC... This level of 'Security' on a private home network is ludicrous! Please Help! I don't know what else I can do...

Thanks for your helpful tip, but that kind of negates the need for a network altogether doesn't it? besides... the hdd is permanently installed in the PC. And I don't want to carry around a portable one. As for thumb drives... I've lost a half a dozen of them already over the past few months. This is not the answer I was looking for... but thanks anyway! Have a great day!
