Just put in an SSD and installed win 7 to it. One of my old storage drives I still have connected with files on it. Now it gives me this error message when I try to open some folders in it (the storage drive). Any advice? Thanks!

With an administrative account you should be able to open it.

Just checked under user accounts in the control panel. My account is an administrative account, and the only account.

*I should add, I am able to open the folders, I just have to click continue when I see the error message. But how do I get it not to show me this message each time?

My experience is that after you access folders, the message does not come up again.
