You need a DX11 capable GPU to play Crysis 3

You say "can run it with Intel", yet Min Req for that game is a GTS 450 that is over 3 times as powerful, so I can't imagine it would really "run" very well even with the 820m, which is only marginally faster than the Intel graphics.

Anyway, it's probably trying to run off your onboard graphics either due to being in the default power saving mode, or BIOS settings. It's a common oversight most first time laptop gamers make.

I've seen a lot of people try to stretch the limits of their laptops, but I don't recall ever seeing anyone try to play a game like Crysis 3 on such low spec. You run the risk of burning that poor thing out.
