I think I found out of this one, if it doesn't backfire one of the next
days. You see, I'm very accepting of young love (as long as they keep it
decent!) and I think it is ideal when people marry their high school
sweetheart. I've known people who did that in real life and it seems to
work as well as anything else I've seen, at least. Anyway, the Sims! I
decided to populate a new neighborhood entirely with the offspring of one
couple (I guess I could have started with one Sim, but then I couldn't
have called them Ada & Even. ^_^ ) Anyway, already in the next generation
I came to a conundrum: Their daughter found this boy, he's both handsome
and funny, they get along so well and he's even courteous to the parents
instead of clinging to his girlfriend. (You don't see that much.) Problem
was, townies are timeless. When Desiree grew up, he would still be a
teen, and when her grandchildren grow up, he'll still be there. So I
needed a way to save him from his Peter Pan life. So I thought: "What if
I get him to move in with us? Er, with my Sims?"
After googling a moment I found a way to do this without downloading any
add-ons.

So far it works like a charm. The boy is fitting right in, and he retains
his memories of being an orphan so he doesn't try "family kiss" but
instead continues to woo his sweetheart. They're still teens so no woohoo
(not that they would be allowed to do that in my house ... er, my Sims'
house). Time enough for that when they grow up.
The only problem was that he was at the very beginning of his teen life
when he came over, while she was almost grown up. That's when I found out
that Elixir of Life does work on teens as well! Nice to know. I suppose
there is a TestingCheat to grow up people in the twinkle of an eye as
well, but I use those only as a last resort. Besides, they're so cute
together. ^_^
