[SOLVED] Your Advices for a Time capsule gaming pc

Some years have marked my life as a HW-Enthusiast more than others.
I built some retro PCs to relive those times.

• 2008 : QX9770 + DDR2 RAM + GTX 280 / GTX 285
• 2010 : 980X + DDR3 RAM + GTX 580
• 2012 : 3970X + DDR3 RAM + GTX 680 / AMD 7970 / GTX Titan (for this pc i used a Gtx 780ti and a titan X too)

I ask for advice on the next year to choose and the configuration you would make

Whats the next year? 2014, or 2013? Also, are you looking for the highest tier components, or anything else

usually i go for the top of the line config of the year

2013 had Ivy-E - overall worst than Sandy-E (my 4960x was overall worst than this 3970x)

2014 had Haswell-E - 5960x 8 lazy cores

yeah so then in 2013 4960x would be fine. You could also go for the fx-9350 if you wanted too, it has blazing fast clock speeds that surprises me even today.
GPU is still the gtx titan I would say
