I'm looking for support in finding a monitor to setup an home office area. I have a MICKE IKEA desk (50cm depth). I will be connecting my MacBook Pro 15 2017 to it via USBC and also my Lenovo laptop (for work). On my MacBook, for fun I mainly surf or do video editing on FCPX. On my work, it's mostly emails/powerpoints.
My plan is to use this arm to allow full deck clearance and add a keyboard and a bluetooth mouse; probably from Logi.
I'm hesitating to go either for 27 or 32 and made the following selection. Some people say that for 4K monitors because of the scaling it's ok to do it even at 50/70cm from the screen.
For 32, this is the one that is within my budget : BenQ EW3280U
For 27, I have shortlisted this one : LG 27UL850-W
What would you recommend?
