Your computer has a Memory Problem

So my computer is about 1 month old now.

I am very worried, I have 2 8GB sticks of Kingston HyperX Fury Black. And it all started off with one blue screen. Then 1 more happened and I noticed it said MEMORY_MANAGEMENT. I had a look online and it said there is a problem with the RAM. Used "Windows Memory Diagnostics" and it says I have a problem. I tried calling Kingston up but they are closing at the minute.

I have noticed problems, trying to do things quickly results in a Blue screen, playing games, or just sitting that can cause it to blue screen. Being a month old too makes me even more worried. I don't want to spend even more money on it.

Here are my full specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690k
CPU Cooler: Corsair H55
Graphics Card: MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 970
RAM: (2x8) 16gb Kingston HyperX Fury Black
Case: NZXT S340
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB
Motherboard: MSI Z97 PC MATE

If there is anything else please let me know, I really want to fix this. Also, my CPU runs at about 40 degrees under load. And my GPU runs at about 65 degrees under load. Just want to give as much information as I can to try and resolve this. Please reply thank you very much.

Yea dude, there will be a clip on the end of each RAM stick. Ground yourself to the case by touching metal on the inside of the case or contacting the power supply. With the PC POWERED OFF, take out one stick (farthest one from the CPU.) Do not touch the connectors on the memory stick and set it down where it won't get touched or spilled on

How will I know if it's working or not? As in, it's running now but when I end it, how do I end it and does it show some sort of results? Sorry about all the questions, stressed about this.

Okay. One stick got 8000 errors and the other one had none. So I've just taken the one out and I am going to try and get another one. Do you think this has happened because it was right next to my CPU. My RAM is in 2 blue slots. Can I move them over away from the CPU do you know? But thank you a lot for your help.

Hard to say what happened exactly. It wouldn't have anything to do with being in the slot near the CPU. Memory rarely just "goes bad." and most manufacturers offer lifetime warranties. Generally once it is installed and in use it just continues to work unless it's somehow physically damaged or shocked by someone playing around inside your computer.

You need to check your motherboard manual to know for sure what slots you should be using. Generally, they want your first stick to be in the slot nearest the CPU and your next stick in either - the next slot over OR the next slot with the same color. They are color coded for you, so that you know which ones will enable dual channel mode.

Here's a few short videos on RAM:

Check the warranty of your RAM. It's better to get your memory as a matched set - as one of those videos will explain. So, unless you urgently need the capacity of that second stick, don't go rushing into adding an unmatched stick to your system

Does that make sense/help you at all?
