Hello friends,
In the past 4 days, I've been receiving the blue screen of death for various reasons (Security kernel, Irql,...). I ran the windows memory diagnostic tool and it found that I do have problem. after the computer restarted, the pop up was vague and said that you have memory problems and need to contact manufacturer.
Can you tell me more about this and what to do about it?

Specs: (running windows 8.1 for 8 months)
AMD A10-5800K
Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
MSI Radeon R7 260 1GB Video Card
EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

Best,
Ash

ash downlaod hirem boot cd and make a bootable cd or usb stick.
http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/
on it is a small dos tool called memtest86. if you dont want to download that then download a bootable coupy of memtest86.
turn your pc off and unplug it. open the case check that both dimms are locked in. if both are then take one dimm out and run memtest on it. (the test are long so do it overnight). if there no errors on that stick in the am then swap sticks. and rerun. if the other stick errors out then you found the stick with the bad chip. if both pass you have to put both stick in and see if memtest fails. with the bad stick you can then do an rma with the memory vendor.

I've been told to do the memtest86 a lot, but I can't find the right ISO file. Can you provide the exact link for the .iso memtest86?
thanks
