Hey,

What's you guys CPUs' temperature? Mine is about low 30*C. Is temp the only thing I need to worry about if I want to overclock? Thx. .....btw, I love my CPU fan.

I asked one of my friends to buy the Gigaworks S700 in the US for me. Lot cheaper than buying here in China, hehehehe...

P4 3.0C (E sux)
ASUS P4P800 SE
Corsiar 512M x 2 (CL2)
ASUS 9600XT
Audigy 2 ZS
Creative Gigaworks S700
Win XP Pro (damn... this is the first time ever in my life I actually have to BUY a Windows)
Zalman CNPS7000A-AlCu
Zalman ZM400B-APS

my Barton 2500 @ 3200 (1.775 Vcore) runs at 38Idle and 42Full load. Its at 40 now.

Using crappy Aquarius 2 Water cooling w/ double bay rez.

My dick is so big, that my dick has a dick. And my dicks' dick is bigger than yours.

My P4c2.6@3.25 is running at 33c idle and 40-45c full load depending on room temp...

Wow... nice water cooling, Ned. My fan is like nothing compare to yours. Is it noisy though? I mean, do you need some kind of pump to get the water flowing?

Athlon64 3200+ clawhammer(2.0Ghz) running at 2430mhz(CPU goes higher but cheap samsung won't go beyond 243mhz(2.95Vdimm))(1.8Vcore) Oh right temps, room temp about 24C, case temp about 29C, CPU idle 28C, load 31C.

It's true that my CPU temps doesn't change too much, but my video card changes, quite a bit, i'm thinking about putting the cold water through the video card first, since it's running much hotter than my CPU.

yeah, you need a Pump, radiator (thing that takes the heat out of the water) and a water block (goes on top of the CPU). Not to mention tubing of course!!!

Its pretty silent, only 1 80mm fan @ 2100rpm.

The easiest way to watercool, you'll need the following,

Submergible Pump
Waterblock
Large container(eg. trash can)
Tubings

Just put the submergible pump in the trash can, connect the pump to the waterblock with tubings, then of course tube the water back to the container. You're done, the large container of water will cool itself, so now it's fanless.

LOL but it works great, a friend of mine has that, he's using it to cool his AthlonXP 2400+ mobile, and a Radeon 9700np. Temps are great, CPU running with 1.8Vcore never going beyond 50C, and the 9700np's back never passes 55C

The advantage is of course it's cheap as hell:D

Hydor L20's like 30CAD
Cheap waterblock, the one he used is the Zalman, 40CAD
Cheap DD GPU block, 30CAD
Tubing, 2CAD for 10 feet.

so about 120 bucks for his watercooling system after taxes:D I'd say that's not bad.

When you put some clock on that pig you'll have plenty to worry about! My 2.8C @ 3.2 is 37C idle and 50C extreme load.
If I clock to 3.3ghz my temp goes to 40C & 55C load. Being as how the 3.0 has a higher multiplier you should run hotter. Stock I was at 27C idle and 39C under load. Those temps are all with a lapped stock 3.2C copper heatsink.

I know its actually a really clever idea.
But as I said its a getho setup I like it!
Personnaly i wouldnt have a trash can with water in my room but when I move in a appartment im sure it will be a huge mess so I will consider it =)

Wait a minute! Pump, large water container, I've got it! Mod your fish tank! A dual-purpose solution sanctioned by Ralph Nader for energy conservation!

LOLOL... put tropic fish in the tank, you save the energy of heating up the fish tank, what a 2-in-1 idea...

actually the norm for ghetto cooling is just a medim size tupperware container, which actually works quite well, cheeper and less intrusive than a trash can too.

If it isn't a P6 then it isn't a processor

Yeah... having a trash can full of water in my room sounds a lot more convenient than just buying a decent, quiet fan :p

My temp is 32C idle, 37C under load, as if anyone cares. :O

And as for fish tank reservoirs, they're a bad idea. The algae alone makes it bad enough, but fishies also don't like anti-corrosive water treatments. :( Poor little buggers.

Now robotic RFID powered/networked fishies on the other hand... :) You see, Lister wasn't a complete smeg-head.

my athlon xp 2400 OC to 157x14 @1.85 volts runs 50 idle and 57-60 load. that was with an antec solutions plus cooler. i've got a new one but haven't set the overclock yet.

water cooling...use an old cars air conditioner condenser for a radiator. its big enough to cool on convection current only...and while you're at it. put the radiator outside and run antifreeze coolant through the lines. crazy overclocking in the winter!

BTW: when you guys lap the heat sinks what do you use for finsishing polish??? i usually just keep it with the tiny steel wool scratches because i don't really know what works best for fine polishing.
