"Your graphics card has disappeared from the sysytem"?

So I was playing some games today, and out of no where it crashed and gave me an error saying that my graphics card has disappeared from the system...what? Does anyone know whats happening here and how to fix it?

Sounds like a Direct X error. I've gotten one occasionally, sometimes also accompanied by a display driver crashed and recovered error message. Try updating your video card drivers. There are some unstable ones out there.

I can't recommend any due to not know what GPU you have.

I did update them this morning, at least i think so. I have an AMD Radeon r9 200 series. I went to the AMD site and downloaded the newest Radeon settings software which said it would update my drivers too, so idk
