In the manual it says "does not support DIMMs made up of 512 Mb (64 MB) chips or less."

Now for the HyperX ram it says:
"HyperX HX316C10FB/8 is a 1G x 64-bit (8GB) DDR3-1600
CL10 SDRAM (Synchronous DRAM) 2Rx8 memory module,
based on sixteen 512M x 8-bit DDR3 FBGA components."

What does it mean for 512Mb (64 MB) chips, 1G x 64-bit, sixteen 512M x 8-bit??

Will it work the board with 1 stick, 2 sticks dual channel? Specifications wise it should right?

MB:ASUS H97-PRO GAMER - Intel H97
CPU:Intel Core i5-4690
RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3 1600 (CAS 10)

I checked the QvL doesnt seem to be on but hasnt been updated.

I've had nothing but problems with HyperX Fury RAM. I would have to guess that Kingston HyperX Fury RAM is the most common, unsupported RAM on the market. I say unsupported for the reasons you're having right now. This RAM doesn't appear on many motherboard QvLs.

I'd exchange it for something more commonly supported.

Hi, I found in the QvL that HyperX blu works though, it has the same 1G x 64-bit (8GB) 1600, 2Rx8, memory modules, based on sixteen 512M x 8-bit components. Maybe the Asus QvL is just not updated.

Edit: just received it 😀 the RAM worked fine, guess the QvL isnt updated.
