so I had an old SDD hanging around.. i was almost sure it was bad, but tried anyway, so yeah it turned out to be BAD, .. it did try install windows 10 on it, to test some things... and it installed but system keeps telling me it's bad.

so I unplugged the SSD .. but everytime I boot I get this blue screen saying.. it cannot find the device to boot.. blah blah, but if I press F9 it boots back to windows 7.

how do I remove this blue screen from happening, after each boot?

When you installed the faulty SSD, the BIOS could have saved it as a boot device. Even though is no longer there the BIOS could have it as the main boot device.

I have checked the bios but it only shows the current drive.. it still boots if I press F9 into windows 7, but I want to stop the blue screen from coming up after every boot.
