I bought this new PC yesterday
The specs are: AMD Ryzen 1300X
Kingston 8GB DDR4 RAM (the ordinary one with no heatsink)
ASUS Prime B350M-K
WD 1TB HDD blue
ASUS GTX 1060 6GB

The problem is the BSOD appears randomly. The error message is different each time. And I also experience microstuttering while gaming, like random stutters in otherwise smooth gameplay. My friend suggested me getting a Kingston HyperX Fury RAM. I don't know what to do. Really frustrated and depressed. Please help somebody. I don't really know what all information I should provide here. Name it and I'll reply ASAP. Please, an almost broke desperate user here

Solution
random crashes are often caused by failing RAM, so lets check that first.

Download and use memtest to test your RAM: www.memtest86.com

Also bear in mind that Ryzen mobos have been having compatibility issues with several RAM modules, make sure to have your BIOS updated to its latest version, this might be the fix you need if the RAM is indeed the culprit.

Solution
The fact that it's not verified doesn't mean it wont work, check the ram with the tool
RaDiKaL_ mentioned. If you decide to buy new ram then get +2666MHz from g.skill (they seem to work best with Ryzen). Slow ram could also be the cause for microstuttering.

Yeah sure !!!

I tested it. The thing froze in the middle. Does that mean that mean RAM is the culprit ?

Did it show errors before freezing?

Very likely it is since memtest86 only stresses your RAM, granted there's a small CPU usage involved but shouldn't be the problem in this scenario.

One more thing you can try before going to change your RAM (I'm assuming that at this point you've already made sure your mobo is running its latest BIOS version) is to try bumping your RAM voltage to the next possible value. That could be all that it needs to be stable.

Yes 192 errors !!!

Yeah I updated the BIOS to the latest version yesterday. But I have never done this RAM voltage adjustment. Can you please elaborate. Sorry :??:

Then your RAM is faulty

Changed RAM. No errors in Memtest. But still facing stuttering in Black Flag :cry::cry: PLEASE HELP GUYS!!!!!
