Sorry this is a little to new for me and i have never gotten this message before. So i am currently on Windows 11 pro 23H2 (i just did a windows update a few mins ago) It just now went to 23H2 but i’ve seen people say they are on 24H2. I’m kinda worried at the moment but idk if maybe its a bug or idk. I wonder if this kind of thread has been happening lately. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

It was previously on 22H2?

And now 23H2?

If so, you're fine.

That "End of service" just refers to the specific version, not your overall Windows license.

Yea i’m not sure i do see in recent updates it looks to be 3/27/24 it was 22H2 and 4/10/24 it went to 23H2 but how come i am not on the latest?? Underneath Feature updates it says “Windows 11, version 23H2 successfully installed on 3/28/24”. I got so scared bcz i update my windows everyday which is probably weird lol but it has the update icon and like a red/white exclamation point❗️ and “get the newer version of windows to stay up to date” but do i wait for windows until it prompts me to update?? I got so scared also because i read “version” i automatically thought windows 11 in general. So what you mean is by version “23H2” not windows 11 as a whole license

Right, not the whole Windows license.

Updates are not rolled out to everyone at the same time.

My main system wants to go to 23H2 just in the last day.
I'll probably let it do that tomorrow.
Okay, that makes sense. So i will just have to keep checking until it updates me to 24H2? I am guessing i’ll have to check and see if it says 24H2 for future updates. Thank you for for the explanation, that cleared up everything for me.🙂

Like incompatibilities meaning hardware requirements?

No, other running processes causing issues with the OS. One of them is Easy Anti Cheat apparently doesn't play well with the update so Microsoft would shut down that PC ability to auto download and install the update till the issue is resolved. So far as I am aware you can still go force the update, if ill advised.

Ahh okay gotcha, thats crazy tho but i will wait til it pushes me to update to the newest version. Thank you for the heads up!
