youtube 1080p problem

hello, i have a problem with my youtube app, the maximum video resoultion i can view is only 360p, my internet is very fast and i have tried uninstalling, and installing the youtube app old version and new version but still no changes. i'm using android 4.4.2 version and the latest youtube version. highest view is 360p

i know for the iphone if you click on the triple dots you can click on the gear icon, and from there you can change the resolution. maybe theres a button you can press to do the same for the android app.

As NoAIm1337 said, click the three dots and then the "Quality"; it should then ask you for an input.

If you don't get anything else, try a different video, the upload might just be of crappy quality

Did you try different videos? Could you download Speedtest by Ookla and check your connection? What phone model are you using?
