Youtube 60 fps looks smoother than when I play games at 60fps?

I've noticed that when I watch youtube video gameplay I can tell straight away if it's in 60fps but when I'm gaming at 50-60 fps it doesn't look as smooth. Could there be a reason for this or maybe I'm just crazy idk could it be because youtube is technically a video and like the hobbit when watching a video there is a noticeable difference.

pre-rendered videos have fixed fps and frame time latency . in real time rendering even at constant 60fps not all frames take the same time to be drawn. so a flactuation on the frame time latency [measured in (ms) milliseconds] may interrupt the flow of the game leading in stuttering.! so for a smooth gaming experience apart from the actuall fps, frame time variance is also very important! http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-processor-frame-rate-performance,3427-2.html

So is this normal for mid range gaming pc's and do high end gaming pc's like the ones running gtx titans not suffer from this problem?

even the greatest hardware suffer from it! there are always flaws in game engines and in ever evolving gfx drivers!
