Ok so I kind of cheated but I decided to put a comment on Pewdiepie's channel asking people to check out my YouTube channel. My channel got about 20 views per day before I put the comment on but then when I put the comment up I got about 300 views in 20 minutes. My subs also went from 13 to 36.

Now my views have gone down again and I get a nice 27 views per day according to my analytics.

Why have my views decreased so much? Even if I put more comments on his videos my views are not increasing the way they did.

Please help :)

My channel is here:

Solution
most likely because you have almost zero content.

if you want to keep viewers and keep subs you need to create much more content.

look at all the big nams like markiplier, pewdiepie amongst others: they all have many videos and are constantly updating with new videos every week.

at the stage your channel is at even if you updated every week its going to be rough since you do not have many videos.

try to get this number up past 50+ and then work towards 100+ and you may find more people willing to come back.

if you want the most views in a short period of time you can try doing a popular topic such as walkthroughs for brand new games which just came out or other such popular searches on youtube.
