Youtube full screen doesnt work

Whenever I am in a youtube video and i click the full screen button it makes the video bigger but doesnt go beyond the taskbar or tabs bar in chrome. In order to get it to cover the whole screen i gotta press F11 which is annoying. It is happening on both my laptop and desktop...please help

Have you tried another browser, like Firefox, Safari, Opera, or even Edge?

If it's happening with all browsers, then there might be an issue with the Windows settings.

I suspect, however, that it's only an issue with Chrome.
