Youtube Low FPS

Ever since I have gotten my new Geforce GTX 970, my youtube videos have been playing at a low fps. It seems like 30fps videos are playing at 20 fps and 60fps videos range from 15-25 fps. It is hard to enjoy videos, please help.

Enable hardware acceleration, or disable it if it is enabled, I don't understand how does that work, sometimes is better enabling it and some times disabling it, but 90% of the time that's the problem.

My computer doesn't give me access to disable or enable hardware acceleration. I can do it on chrome, but it doesn't do anything.

Never Mind, I restarted chrome but it didn't restart the process in the background which is necessary for the hardware acceleration to take effect. Thanks, really appreciated.
