I record games at 1080p/60fps using Shadowplay and then I edit the gameplay using Windows Movie Maker. Every time I try to upload my gameplay videos to YouTube the videos only end up being 360p. I spent the last five hours editing one video and waiting for it to upload to YouTube and when it finally does I only have options to watch it at 360p and lower. Can someone please help me figure this out? I've spent way too much time and effort on this video to let it go to waste. Also, when I watch the video with Windows Media Player or any other similar program it's clearly 1080p/60fps.

Solution
Depends on the type of compression. Post your uploaded youtube video here if you can to view.

I have uploaded 12 mins of 4k video and that uploaded file size is 2.9GB, originally 28.0GB's. But found out later, youtube can not handle 4k 🙁

edit: tested more settings, and 4K now upload to youtube perfectly
I recorded gameplay of Alan Wake's American Nightmare using Shadowplay with the resolution set 1080p HD, Frame Rate 60, and the Bit Rate of 50. I recorded just slightly over 10 minutes of gameplay. Afterwards I used a For High Definiton Display setup within Windows Movie Maker. Unfortunately, I have just found out that it was not set to 60 fps but to 30 however the resolution was still at 1080p. I edited the video, had the video file made into a mp4 format and then uploaded it to YouTube. It was fully uploaded and processed from what I could tell so I published the video. When I try to watch the video I only have options to watch it at 360p though. I checked the properties tab on my video and it clearly says it's 1920x1080p.

I am attempting to re-upload the video. I have just noticed though that the files size is 655 MB which I believe is fairly small for a 10 minute video recorded at 1080p. Please correct me if I am mistaken. The original video I tried to upload was 1.7 GB.

I will post a link to the video as soon as it is done uploading. It is processing right now at 95%. Also, I should point out that I have no trouble viewing YouTube videos at 720p/60fps or 1080p/60fps except the ones I upload. It would be awesome to find out that other people can view my videos at the recorded resolution and frame rate even if I will have to view my videos except at 360p. Don't be too harsh on my video though cause I just started recording and editing gameplay :))

Problem solved :)

When you complete the youtube upload, it has to process the video. So immediately after you completed the upload it may only show 360 or 480. When youtube finalized your viddo, then it will show HD 1080.

Your video tells me and I can view at 1080. No more worries :)
