Youtube problems in Firefox

Hey all,

I've noticed some pretty weird things in Firefox recently.
My main problem is, whenever I try to watch a Youtube video while playing Hearthstone, the video's pretty choppy. The sound's fine, but the video stutters a lot. This only happens while I'm running Hearthstone. It does seem to be an issue with the HTML5 player, as it doesn't occur while having the 'Youtube Flash Player' addon installed.

UPDATE: Seems to happen with any game now, as opposed to only Hearthstone. The amount of stutter seems to depend on how much of my computer's used up.

My second problem is a rarer but more serious one. Sometimes when I watch an Youtube video, I get this glitchy crackle sound in my headphones, and then the video sound dissapears. It comes back if I press anywhere on the timeline. On one occasion, I got a 'An error has occured' message right after the crackle, and the video stopped.

I also get little random 'pops' in my headphones sometimes, mainly when I open Hearthstone.

Specs:
Windows 8.1
i7
GTX770
Z97-A

I have tried:
Disabling hardware acceleration
Cleared cache
Disabling addons
Creating a completely new profile in Firefox
Reinstalling Firefox
Reinstalling Graphics/Audio Driver
Reinstalling Hearthstone
Let me know if there's any more info you need! Thanks!

You might want to reinstall your graphics and audio drivers, firefox's h264/AAC back end is a bit shaky since they went with something other than LAV/FFMPEG (because the higher ups stopped caring about users and only about corporate funding)

Thanks for the reply!
I reinstalled both drivers and Hearthstone, but the first issue still persists.
The second issue is a bit rarer so I'm not sure if it's gone. I'll report if it comes back.
You think it is worth trying to reinstall Firefox?
Any ideas?

Go to Firefox settings "addons and extensions" and DISABLE flash. Youtube will start running onto HTML5 only. It(flash) must be disabled. not any"clisk to activate or others" ideally uninstall flash as it is not safe anyway and slows computer down like nothing else.

I am using the HTML5 player by default. I just downloaded the Flash addon to check if the issue persisted while Flash was active, and it didn't.

I'm still getting the stuttering and it's driving me crazy...
Does anyone have any idea what it might be?

Tried disabling them, but to no avail.
The stuttering has started to happen while I play ANY game on my first monitor now, rather than just Hearthstone (I usually play Youtube videos on my second monitor). It seems that the video stutter depends on how heavy my computer is used (CPU usage, GPU usage, RAM etc).

These problems are still happening...
I also randomly seem to get a quick 'bzz' sound in my headphones.
Any ideas?

And there, the second problem happened again.
Is this bugs or what?

Funny, because supposedly they've been failing for 2 years now. I've had quite a lot of little issues like these that have fixed themselves over time.

I just heard a loud noise while playing a video in my headphones. It seems like the noise is the same volume as the video. I took the headphones off, and continued the video to see what would happen. A second one was heard shortly after, and the video started to buffer. The "Experiencing interruptions?" message appeared. I just reloaded the page and the issue was gone. Not sure if I can keep watching Youtube videos in Firefox if these noises continue, because they are really bizarre. Are there any chance they might be connected to my internet in some way?

As I mentioned in a previous post, there are also these weird little sounds I've been noticing in my headphones. They happen for a split second and are not as loud. I seem to be getting one sometimes when I open Hearthstone, but they do happen randomly as well.
Oh, I also reinstalled Firefox but it didn't really do anything.
How'd you recommend 'clean' installing my drivers?

Interesting, watched some Youtube videos in Chrome, and one video started to buffer like in Firefox with the "Experiencing interuptions?" message. No noise though, not sure if it's connected or just strange internet, tho I've never had the message beforehand.
